Community Helpers

We had a fantastic week learning about Community Helpers.  We had a visit from the police officer and the doctor.  We enjoyed dressing up as what we want to be when we grow up.  Check out some of the fun we had!

The police officer came to teach us about his job!

We also had a visit from a doctor.

We enjoyed making our own doctor bag.

We used fine motor skills to tear up blue paper to make a police car.

We pretended to be dentist and "cleaned teeth".

We thought about what a baker does and worked on sequencing.

These sweeties want to be doctors, nurses, and veterinarians.

These fine young men want to serve and protect as police officers and a forest ranger.

These handy gentlemen want to be construction workers.

These cuties want to be a race car driver, a firewoman, and a pilot.

These sweet friends want to be doctors and zookeeper.

These creative guys want to be a paleontologist and a football player.

We did interviews of the different jobs we have.

Every morning we have little jobs to help us work on our fine motor skills.

The weather was beautiful on Monday!  So grateful we were able to enjoy the sunshine!

We worked on the sight words we, a, see, and our color words.

"O" is for orange!

"O" is for Optimus Prime.

"O" is for ostrich, owl, octopus, and otter.

"O" is for orange and onions.

This week we worked on the letter "O".
We practiced good pencil grip by doing some fairy painting.

We made an octopus for letter "O".

Here are some of the pictures from Space Week. Enjoy!

Blessings on your weekend!
