Friends and Family Week

We had a great week learning about the letter "L", the number "0", the sight word "red", and so much more!  Wednesday was wear red and bring the lette "L" show and share.

We had friends bring in lanterns, lions, lady bugs, a LaLaLoopsy Doll, and a ladder!  I can't wait to see what we bring next week!

We also enjoyed sharing about our families and learning new things about our friends!

Here is some of the fun learning we did for the letter "L".

We even made Lollipops!

We are still working on our names. It is important to use good pencil grip and always start our letters at the top.

We also had fine getting our wiggles out in the Minds in Motion room.

We love our friends and we love our families!  We couldn't learn with out our amazing families like you!

In Bridge this week, we continued learning about each other and our families.

We continued to work on good pencil grip when we wrote our names.

We had finding the letters from our names in Alphabet Soup.

We also did a little author study on Leo Lionni for the letter "L".  We used his illustration techniques to make our own version of Swimmy.

Blessings on your weekend!!!

Welcome back to school!!!

It has been such a joy to get to know these awesome kids this week!  We are going to have a wonderful year full of fun and learning.   Here is a look at some of the fun we had.

We enjoyed making crafts with our handprint and names.  We even did a self portrait!

We worked really hard on identifying, building, and writing our names this week. We learned how to hold our pencil with good grip and that we only capitalize the first letter of our name.

We also learned about the classroom rules, sharing, and how to be a friend by playing with our new friends!

We loved learning about our new friends.

I pray your week was as wonderful as ours!  Blessings on your weekend!!!

In Bridge this week, we met some new friends and continued to work on writing our names.  Take a look at the extra fun we had!

This is a class book we made with all of our names.  It is fun to sing and spell our friends names!

We had fun at learning centers.  We practiced identifying letters, writing letters, and letter sounds.

We also had fun playing with our new friends!

Thank you for sharing your sweet kids with me in Bridge. I feel so blessed to get to work with them this year!  Blessings on your weekend!
