Space Week

This week, we learned about all things space.  I was very impressed with how well they remembered the facts that we had learned about the planets!  We also worked on letter "K", number "14" and the sight words, "can" and "we".

We also worked on our cutting skills.

We marble painted our planets!

Meet our new student Cora!

Painting the moon!

Whoops!  We are on our side like Uranus!

We worked on reading our new Poetry Folders.  Please read these with your child and return them to school each day!

In Bridge this week, we continued our study of space.  We made the planet Earth and learned many facts about all of the planets.  We also made aliens with our handprints and telescopes.  We worked on reading a little space reader and handwriting.

Blessings on your weekend!

Snow and a Surprise for Ms. Crystal

This week our theme was Ice and Snow!  Thankfully the snow stayed in our classroom.   We worked on the letter "R" and the number "13".  We also worked on sight words and counting to 80.  We also had a big surprise for Ms. Crystal.  We surprised her with a baby shower.  A big thank you to all of our families who helped make it so special for her.  We are going to miss you Ms. Crystal!

Thanks for taking care of Millie!

So many things start with "R"!

I was so impressed with how well these guys did at taking care of their babies!  We've got some good Mommies an Daddies!

Making playdoh babies.

In Bridge this week, we continued our study of snow and ice.  We made snowmen with our feet and snowflakes.  Each snowflake is unique, just like me!  We also worked on addition, letter writing, and number writing.

Blessings on your weekend!
