President's Day

This week we studied President's Day.  We learned about past presidents like Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.  We learned about money too.  Our letter this week was "N".  We had fun making Ninja Turtles.

Look at all of our letter "N" things we brought in for Show and Share!

We flipped a penny and graphed how many times it landed on heads and tails.

We painted the American flag.

The weather has been gorgeous!  We got to play outside!

We made our favorite Ninja Turtles and then graphed it.  Leonardo, the blue one for the non TMNT fans, was the class favorite!

In Bridge this week, we continued to learn about President's Day.  We made flags and wrote simple sentence's about the colors of the flag.  We worked on counting money, finding missing numbers, and sight words.  We made a nest for letter "N" and got to enjoy some beautiful sunshine!

Look at those sentences!  Great work!

Loving this wonderful weather!

Working with money.

Happy Birds sitting in their nest!

Blessing on your weekend!!!

Valentine's Day

Tuesday we got to have our Valentine's Day Party!  A big thank you to all of the parents and grand parents that came to help.  We had a wonderful time!  We enjoyed a delicious snack, making a "Donut know what I would do without you" valentine, making a valentine, a monster bean bag game, number bingo, and passing out valentine's to our friends.  Take a look at all the fun we had!

The rest of the week, we focused on the letter "M".  We made mops and monkeys.  We went on a sight word hunt around our classroom.  They had so much fun looking for their sight word.

Looking for the missing sight words.

Blessings on your week!
