We had a great week learning about Apples! Check out all the fun we had this week!
We are using our writing fingers to tear up paper for an apple craft. This is a great way to strength our fingers as we get them ready to write!
Our finished apple!
Doing a STEM activity. Trying to stack apples on our "apple tree".
Look how many apples these ladies were able to stack!
Learning about the apple life cycle.
And parts of the apple.
Building with friends!
We tasted red, green, and yellow apples to decide which ones were our favorites.
Graphing our results!
Red apples are our favorite!
Working on our color green book!
Painting number 3.
Working hard on letter "C"!
We made apple pie in a cup!
Crushing up graham crackers as our crust.
Now we get to try it!
Some of us didn't like it.
Some of us weren't sure.
Some of us loved it!
Our letter "C" show and share.
"C" is for cookies!
The rain kept us inside so we did yoga to get some of our energy out!
We had fun with friends during a puzzle race.
Wow! They did a great job!
In Bridge class, we extended our learning on apples. Check out some of the fun we had!
We made apple trees and used our fingerprints to make apples.
Working on writing our numbers!
We made candy apples.
We did a science experiment to see what different liquids would do to our apple chunks. We used water as our control. We also used vinegar, corn syrup, lemon juice, and Coco-Cola.
Water
Look what Coco-Cola did.
Corn syrup
Lemon juice.
Vinegar
We compared our results.
We decided that lemon juice was the best way to preserve apples. Although corn syrup did an excellent job of keeping the apple white, we know that sugar is not a healthy choice for our apples.
We worked on math skills such as patterns, sorting, and graphing during center time.
Working on our fine motor skills during center time!
Sorting by beginning sounds.
"C" is for cupcake.
Have a wonderful and blessed weekend!
