Dental Health Week

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, there is no better time to talk about dental health.  (Well, except maybe Halloween)  We had a great week practicing brushing teeth with toothpaste, making yellow teeth white, and even having a special visit from the dentist.  We also worked on the letter "V", the sight word "you", the number "16".  Take a look at our week together!

We enjoyed our special visit from Chloe's mom, Dr. Guilford.

We practiced where on our teeth we need to focus when we brush.

We made Valentine's in honor of the letter "V"!

We also made a Volcano for the letter "V".

And we had a blast making it erupt!

In Bridge this week, we continued our study of dental health.  We enjoyed drawing sugar monsters on a tooth with chalk and making a mouth with teeth.  We also worked on graphing and addition.  I am so proud of their hard work this week!

Making our own graphs.

Addition fun with dominoes.

Matching capital and lowercase letters.
