Eric Carle week 5

We had a wonderful week learning all about Eric Carle and his amazing books!!!!
On Monday we had a visit from the      Butterfly Lady!  We got to see eggs, caterpillars, chrysalis', and butterflies! We learned about a butterfly life cycle too!

     Saying goodbye to the butterflies!

Wearing the color yellow and celebrating the letter "E"!  We brought in elephants, eggs, an envelope, an eagle, an elephant cup, Elsa, and an Excavator.

                Singing songs together!

We painted spiders to look like the Very Busy Spider.  We also cut sister webs at the sensory table.

We painted the Very  Lonely Firefy reunited with his family.

We made a letter "E" book.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens - Ecclesiastes 3:1

In Bridge This Week: We continued learning all about Eric Carle.

We learned about clouds and even made a real cloud based on the book "Little Cloud".

We made different shaped clouds out of play-doh.

We reached for the moon and built ladders to the moon after we read "Papa Please Bring Me the Moon".

We made chameleons after we read "The Mixed Up Chameleon ".

We had a wonderful week learning and growing together!  We pray that your time  together as a family on this extended weekend is full of love and joy. Many blessings to you and your family!
