Pumpkins week #9

We had a blast learning about pumpkins, the letter "C", the number 7, and so much more!  Here are some of the creative things the kiddos brought to share on Wednesday: cape, Carebear, car, cat, Captain America coat, clip, candle, Christmas book, and cute clothes!

Here are some of the pumpkin activities we did this week.  We really enjoyed counting the seeds and exploring the inside of the pumpkin!

Fire Safety week #8

This post is a little late, but I wanted to start with a big thank you to all of you for helping make the trike-a-thon such a wonderful event!  The money we raised will help buy supplies for the classroom.  So far we have ordered a reading tent and a bigger magnetic board for our classroom. I will post more pictures later this week to show you some more of the neat things we were able to add to our classroom. Here are some pictures I was able to snap the night of the trike-a-thon.  

Before Fall break we worked on fire safety and the letter "U".  I was so impressed with all of the creative things these smarties brought in for the letter "U"!  Take a look....

Ms. Jamie's class found a walking stick and shared it with our class. It was so neat to watch it walk!

A big thank you for all the parental help with our little people!   They turned out so cool!!!

In Bridge we continued our study on fire safety.  We also worked on identifying hot and cold items. We reviewed all the letter sounds and letters that we have learned so far by playing some games with a partner.
